Friends and Families,

Sober Livings are a great place for those wanting to continue their recovery in a safe and trustworthy environment where the steps and traditions are practiced. We recieve things we did not get growing up. Statistics prove that by going into a sober living, we stay clean and sober longer one day at a time.

You no longer have to stay where you are and you don't have to go back home to that dysfunctional way of living that just didn't work. It was not safe and we didn't feel loved. It may be time to try something different. We are committed to this wonderful way of living that has saved our lives and millions of others just like us. we no longer feel alone in anything we do. we have found a new freedom with opportunities for physical, emotional, spiritual growth through living with clean and sober friends in recovery. There are no rules, just suggestions along with a changed life and a better place to derive strength from. We believe our struggles are threefold: physical, emotional and spiritual. We aspire to strengthen our confidence through various literature, book studies, support groups and active service.

We find the effects of healing embody a set of principles which, when followed, promote inner change.

Recovery is best experienced in the context of a group. When one person shares their problems, issues and hang ups, it frees others to share theirs and together we form a powerful bond.

The God of your own understanding, Where ever we derive strength from (Ie.- God, Higher Power, the group), come join us on the wonderful journey and may your find healing, serenity, and peace of mind.

HI I'M JOEL,

As a child my dad was an alcoholic and growing up in an alcoholic home wasn't very pretty. There was alway a sense of tension, and never knowing when the next rage would happen. So as a child in that environment, I picked up into my own lifestyle of drinking and using drugs. Living a daily life on the streets surrounded with violence, theft and abuse. After many years of doing so, I was given a chance at a new life. In June of 1996, I was sentenced to rehab and have been

clean and sober ever since. My wife and I decided to start our home and to help people in ways that we were helped. The gift is seeing the change in the lives of the people who we get to work with. If you or a loved one or just a friend are suffering and need a hand, take the initiative to reach out to them and to someone who has experience in this particular situation. Remember people can change if they are given the right direction, love and support that any 12-step offers. I believe we were all put on this earth in a way that is connected and that we should take the time to care for one another with love patience and understanding, that difference can be up to you. Together we all can make a change. Every little bit can help. Take the time to do something for someone else that is not as well off as you. Thank you Joel.

HI I'M LISA

I can thank a drunk for our recovery today.

12 step recovery support groups, they are my favorite places to be. I am truly grateful for Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob for starting 12 step support groups over 80 years ago, that would help me with all the struggles from my past, present and future its that good. Thank you Bill and Bob for helping so many.

The experience strength and hope I have received from Alcoholics Anonymous and other 12 step groups have allowed me to share my experience strength and hope of both my suffering and recovery. We don't regret the past nor do we wish to shut the door on it. I attend a lot of Womens ZOOM meeting for more info call me at 818.445.9901

We invite you to check out and attend at least 6 -12 Step meetings before you decide they are not for you. If you do not think you qualify, keep and open mind, everyone has some sort of dysfunction or unhealthiness to some degree, even if there is no signs of addiction. Even old timers keep showing up and make fresh discoveries. HOW Honesty Open-mindedness and Willingness.

We are part of the
